General

Billing policy
We are a private billing practice. Payment is required at the time of consultation. We do not guarantee which prescriptions/treatment/documentation will be provided.
Refunds will not be provided for consultations that don’t result in script provision.
Cancellation / non-attendance policy

Hola Health is an interim care giver. We expect the patients to follow up with their usual GP, if their health issues continue to persist. In certain cases, our Doctors may not be able to diagnose your health issue and can give only general advice and empirical therapy.

New patient policy

Babies less than 6 months old
Any type of chest or abdomen pain
Extended health problems beyond 2 weeks
Chronic disease plans
Mental health issues or care plans
Workers compensation
Travel insurance claims
Drug prescription policy

The prescription of these drugs is solely at the discretion of the consulting doctor. No refund will be issued if the medication you request is not prescribed by the doctor.

We are unable to provide chronic disease or mental health plans.

COVID-19 policy

COVID-19 release from isolation clearances, vaccine exemptions or return to work certificates cannot be provided via telehealth. COVID anti viral medicines can’t be prescribed.

Patients must provide any referrals to your GP.

Medical certificates can’t include patient condition or be backdated.

Other practice policy
Prescriptions will be sent via SMS as eScript within an hour of the consultation. Delays of up to12 hours if Medicare /IHI details are invalid or missing. IHI is mandatory to receive scripts if you don’t have a Medicare card. Any details received out of hours will be fulfilled on the next day.

Services

We offer a range of services including:

  1. General consultation
  2. Request new or repeat script
  3. COVID19 consultation (excluding exemption or return to work certificate)
  4. Medical certificate
PLEASE NOTE
  1. COVID exemption or return to work certificates cannot be provided via telehealth.
  2. Medical certificates: cannot be backdated. Multi-day medical certificates can be provided but not beyond 7 days from the date of consultation.
  3. The issuing of all scripts: is at the doctor’s discretion and may be provided as a once off or with repeats. Scripts for sedatives and any under S8 classification may be rejected or only provided in limited quantities. Refunds will not be provided for patients who are denied access to prescription medication by the consulting doctor.
  4. A valid Medicare number is required: In order to be issued a prescription, you are required to have either a valid Medicare number or an Individual Healthcare Identifier which can be done via https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individual-healthcare-identifiers
  5. Any detailed invoice for private health insurance claims: cannot be provided as no Medicare item number is recorded. As a result the full amount is payable by the patient prior to the consult.
  6. Scripts provided: will be sent to the mobile number and/or email address as nominated by the patient, within 30 minutes of the completion of the consult.
  7. COVID anti viral drugs/medicines cannot be prescribed.
  8. Complex referrals may not be provided.
