Urgent care is not a substitute for emergency care, but they can be a solid option for urgent health conditions or if your doctor’s office is closed. Urgent care involves any non-life-threatening illness or injury needing urgent attention which might be dealt with by phone consultation.

Out-of-hours urgent care GP consults are designed for non-emergency needs. Some conditions and requests are not suitable, including:
