At Hola Health, bulk billing* is applied automatically if you are eligible for the services. Simply provide your Medicare details during booking. If you meet the requirements, the claim will be processed by Hola on your behalf. Since there is no upfront fee for the consultation (patients pay nothing), the Medicare rebate will be paid to Hola directly.
Before your consultation with Hola
- Find the service that is bulk-billed – Hola offers certain telehealth services that are under Medicare bulk billing*.
- Check eligibility – After-hours bulk billing is available at set times 11pm to 6:45am, 7 days a week for eligible Medicare cardholders. Mental Health Care Plans are bulk billed every day with no timing restriction.
- Book an appointment: Book online on the website or via the app. Have your Medicare card ready.
After your appointment
- Receive the medical script if approved: The AHPRA-registered practitioner may send you a prescription electronically (via SMS or email) if clinically appropriate.
- Hola Health claims on your behalf: Hola will submit the claim to Medicare; no actions needed by you.
