You can join using a modern smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer, with a supported browser, a stable internet connection, and a working camera and microphone.

Do I need a camera and a microphone for my video call? 

Yes. Before your appointment: 

  1. Test your camera. 
  1. Test your microphone. 
  1. Use headphones for clearer sound, if you have them. 
  1. Make sure your speakers are turned on. 

What permissions do I need to allow for a video call? 

When you join, your browser may ask for camera and microphone access. Choose Allow for both. Without this, your call may not work properly. 

Can I join my call using a mobile phone or tablet? 

Yes. Before joining: 

  1. Charge your device. 
  1. Connect to a stable internet connection. 
  1. Allow camera and microphone access. 
  1. Sit somewhere quiet and well-lit. 

Can I continue my call using mobile data instead of Wi-Fi? 

Yes. If your Wi-Fi is unreliable, a strong 4G or 5G connection can work. Just check your data allowance, since video calls use a fair amount of data. 

Can I switch devices if I’m having technical issues? 

Yes. You can move from, for example, a laptop to your phone, a tablet to a desktop computer, or one browser to another. Just rejoin using your original call link..
