Dr. Ravi Rao is a pioneering bariatric surgeon with an outstanding record of success in weight-loss surgery, general surgery, and revisional procedures. Leading a team at Perth Surgical & Bariatrics, Dr. Rao personally ensures that every patient receives world-class treatment, safety, and care.

Specialising in a variety of minimally invasive bariatric procedures, Dr. Rao excels in Sleeve Gastrectomy, various gastric bypass procedures such as the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, SIPS (SADI-S) Surgery, and revisional bariatric surgeries. He also performs Abdominoplasty and Brachioplasty for weight loss patients, as well as laparoscopic general surgeries, including gall bladder surgery, complex abdominal hernias, and fundoplications or anti-reflux surgery.
