What is an X-ray test?
An X-ray is a medical imaging test that uses low levels of radiation to create images of bones and certain internal structures. It is commonly used to diagnose fractures, infections, lung conditions, and joint issues.

What types of X-rays are available?
An online GP may provide a referral for various types of X-rays depending on symptoms.

What are the limitations of an X-ray?

How to prepare for an X-ray?
- Usually, no fasting required
- Remove jewellery and metal objects
- Inform the radiology provider if pregnant or possibly pregnant
- Bring your referral and Medicare card
