What medicines can’t be prescribed by Hola GPs?

The provision of any prescriptions is at the discretion of the doctor. Hola Health AHPRA-registered practitioners will assess what is clinically appropriate for you during your telehealth consult. Hola Health practitioners are unable to prescribe controlled drugs (Schedule 8) or drugs of dependence (Schedule 4D).

Why can’t I find the medication I’m looking for?    

Some of the common reasons for not being able to find your medication are:   

• The controlled medication –Hola Health practitioners are unable to prescribe controlled drugs (Schedule 8) or drugs of dependence (Schedule 4D)
• Meds may not be listed – The medication you’re after may not be available in our medication catalogue. We suggest having a fast online doctor consultation to speak with one of our Australian-registered GPs or medical practitioners to discuss the availability, treatment, and your health condition.    
• Medication name is incorrect – You may have mistyped the name of the medication. We recommend checking your existing medication package, so you can enter the exact name in the search.
