What is an eScript?

EScript, an electronic prescription, is a digital alternative to the traditional paper script. This is issued by an AHPRA-licensed medical practitioner using a telehealth service. The eScript is sent as a digital token which can be scanned at a pharmacy nearby.

What happens once my eScript is approved?

Once your electronic script is approved, it will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. This SMS will contain a digital token which will be either a QR code or a bar code and can be scanned at most pharmacies in Australia. Alternatively, you can dispense the medicines through a pharmacy online and get them delivered to your location.

Can I use this service from anywhere in Australia?
