Frequently Asked Questions
What is an eScript?
EScript, an electronic prescription, is a digital alternative to the traditional paper script. This is issued by an AHPRA-licensed medical practitioner using a telehealth service. The eScript is sent as a digital token that can be scanned at a pharmacy nearby.
What types of medications can I request?
You can request a variety of medications and choose from 800+ common medications. Certain controlled substances, such as Schedule 8 medications and Schedule 4D medications, cannot be issued via telehealth doctor consultations due to regulatory restrictions. If you have a specific medication in mind or need assistance with your health concerns, consult with one of our qualified health practitioners.
What happens once my eScript is approved?
Once your electronic script is approved, it will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. This SMS will contain a digital token, which will be either a QR code or a barcode, and can be scanned at most pharmacies in Australia. Alternatively, you can dispense the medicines through a online pharmacy and get them delivered to your location.
Will it be accepted by the pharmacist?
Yes, online prescriptions or eScripts are accepted at most pharmacies across all states and territories in Australia.
Are Hola doctors real doctors?
You can trust Hola Health. Our doctors and health practitioners are AHPRA-registered and based in Australia and will adhere to the highest clinical standards. Have an instant consult for all your medical needs at any time and day.
How do I claim bulk billing when requesting the service?

The process is easy: Start by selecting the product you wish to have delivered along with your preferred local pharmacy. Next, upload your escript and schedule your delivery.
