Using telehealth is simple and convenient. It allows you to consult with an AHPRA-registered doctor or medical practitioner from the comfort of your home. All you need for a telehealth consultation is an active internet connection, a laptop or smartphone, a working microphone, and a camera.
All consults are conducted via a device like your mobile phone or desktop computer using either Safari or Chrome browsers. Additionally, the Hola telehealth app can also be used for consultations, available 24/7.
You’ll need a working mobile phone or desktop computer with a stable internet connection and a front-facing camera. For bulk-billing* services, a valid Medicare card is required.
Here’s more info on what to expect in a telehealth appointment online with Hola.
Note: Telehealth is for non-emergency health concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 immediately.
