When your child is unwell, you can request a telehealth medical certificate online from an AHPRA-registered medical practitioner at Hola Health.

An online medical certificate is valid as one issued in person when it is issued by an AHPRA-registered practitioner. Telehealth can also be convenient for busy parents, with consultations available 24/7.

If you need time off work to care for your unwell child, you can also request a carer’s certificate through telehealth. You may not need to visit a clinic in person.

Important: Telehealth may not be suitable if your child needs an in-person examination or urgent care. If you are concerned that your child is seriously unwell, seek appropriate medical care or call 000.

Individual outcomes depend on the clinical assessment of the reviewing AHPRA-registered practitioner.
