Can I get a medical certificate online using Hola Health?

Yes, an Australian-registered medical practitioner can issue you a Medical Certificate if deemed suitable. The cost for a same-day certificate starts from $14.90.

Once approved, the Medical Certificate is sent to you on your phone via email. The certificate comes in a PDF format that can be easily shared or uploaded to a portal. If you are using the Hola app, you can access the certificate from the app.

Get Single-day Online Medical Certificates

A single-day certificate will only cover the day of submission. The single-day sick certificate is issued on the same day. If you need a certificate for tomorrow, you will need to submit a new request tomorrow.

Notes:

• The date of the certificate cannot be edited.
• Medical Certificates cannot be backdated.
• Same day Online medical certificates can be requested for Work, School, University, or Carer's.
• The certificate will not include any information relating to your diagnosis.

How to request a Same-Day Medical Certificate

Follow these steps to request a medical certificate through Hola Health:

2. Complete the online form by providing accurate and detailed information about your symptoms and the reason for requiring the certificate.
3. Submit your request.

Once your request is approved by the doctor, they will issue your medical certificate instantly.

Get Multi-day Medical Certificates

A multi-day certificate will cover 2 days or more. You will need to have a video telehealth consult with one of our Australian-registered doctors. Telehealth consultations allow doctors to issue certificates covering multiple consecutive days for a maximum of 7 days, if suitable.

Notes:

• The issue date on the certificate will be the date of the consultation.
• Our doctors are unable to backdate a Medical Certificate or issue one for yesterday.
• Multi-day medical certificates can be requested for Work, School, University, or Carer's.
• The certificate will not include any information relating to your diagnosis.
• The duration of the medical certificate is up to the discretion of the consulting practitioner.

How to request a Multi-Day Medical Certificate

Follow these steps to request a multi-day medical certificate through Hola Health:

3. You will get a link to join a video call with a GP within 15 minutes.
4. Discuss your symptoms and the reason for requiring the certificate.
