What medicines can’t be prescribed by Hola GPs?

Examples of s8 and s4d medicines include, but are not exclusively:  

• Schedule 8: alprazolam, buprenorphine, dexamphetamine, fentanyl, hydromorphone, lis-dexamphetamine, methadone, methylphenidate, morphine, oxycodone, tapentadol, and pethidine  
• Schedule 4D: benzodiazepines (clonazepam, diazepam, oxazepam, temazepam, etc), phentermine, pregabalin, testosterone, modafinil, zolpidem, zopiclone  

Why can't I find the medication I'm looking for?    

• The medication may be a Schedule 8 or Schedule 4D medication - Our doctors are unable to prescribe controlled, addictive, Schedule 8 or Schedule 4D medications. We suggest visiting a local clinic to discuss your needs.  
• Meds may not be listed - The medication you're after may not be available in our medication catalogue. We suggest having a fast online doctor consultation to speak with one of our Australian-registered GPs to discuss the availability, treatment and your health condition.    
• Medication name is incorrect - You may have mistyped the name of the medication. We recommend checking your existing medication package, so you can enter the exact name in the search.
