What will not be covered in a telehealth consultation?

With Hola Health, the following are NOT covered in a telehealth call –

• S8 medications script
• Backdated medical certificates
• Centrelink medical certificates
• Bail hearing medical certificates
• Dealing with patients less than 6 months of age
• Consultations regarding chest or abdomen pain (referred to a physical GP)
• Extended health problems longer than 2 weeks
• Workers Compensation claims
• Travel insurance claims
• Any medical certificate citing fit for ‘x’
• Return to work certificate
• Clearance for travel
• Same-day medical certificates for people aged under 16 years

Note: if you are experiencing symptoms including acute chest pain or severe abdominal pain, call 000 or attend your nearest Emergency Department immediately.
