Yes, if clinically appropriate. Hola Health’s AHPRA-registered doctors are available 24/7, so you can request a telehealth consultation any time — including after hours, on weekends, or when you’ve run out of a regular medication unexpectedly.
During your consultation, your doctor will review your symptoms and medical history to determine whether a prescription is appropriate for you. If so, it’s issued as a secure eScript and sent to you by SMS or email, which you can take to any participating pharmacy. A prescription isn’t guaranteed — it depends on your doctor’s clinical assessment, and they may recommend an in-person review instead if that’s more appropriate for your situation.
Some medications have additional requirements and may need an in-person evaluation before they can be prescribed or renewed. Hola Health doctors do not prescribe drugs of addiction or other high-risk restricted medications via telehealth, in line with Australian telehealth prescribing safeguards — your doctor will refer you to appropriate in-person or specialist care if this applies to you.

Yes, in many circumstances, you can get a PBS prescription through telehealth if the medicine is PBS-listed for your situation and the prescriber is authorised to prescribe it.
