Are Hola Doctors registered with AHPRA?

Yes. Hola works only with AHPRA-registered doctors and nurse practitioners. Our GPs are fully qualified and are trained to provide telehealth consultations, issue prescriptions and medical certificates, write referrals, and diagnose conditions remotely.  

All telehealth services by Hola meet the Australian medical standards and regulations. Being AHPRA-certified, our GPs are legally authorised to provide online consults via telehealth.  

What is AHPRA? 

Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or AHPRA oversees all registered medical professionals in Australia, ensuring that doctors and nurse practitioners meet strict professional and ethical standards. Under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme, AHPRA ensures the GPs and health practitioners are qualified, trained, and safe to practice, including handling registration, setting standards, and managing complaints to build public trust.   

What does AHPRA-registered doctors mean for you?  

• You consult with real Australian- registered doctors and nurse practitioners. All Hola Health’s doctors and nurse practitioners are licensed and registered to provide telehealth consultations.
