Medical practitioners are responsible for ensuring that all prescribed medications are safe, effective, and aligned with the needs of the patient. When they refuse to prescribe medication, they may propose alternative treatment options or recommend that the patient seek further evaluation from a specialist.

Once you’ve completed your consult and received your script via SMS, you can get your medicine delivered the same day with our chemist delivery service or go to your local pharmacy whenever it suits you. The pharmacy will scan the QR code on the script and dispense the medications. It’s that easy!

Hola GPs are unable to prescribe Schedule 8 medicines and Schedule 4D medicines via a telehealth consultation. Schedule 8 and Schedule 4D medicines include, but are not exclusively;

• Schedule 8: Alprazolam, Buprenorphine, Dexamphetamine, Fentanyl, Hydromorphone, Lis-dexamphetamine, Methadone, Methylphenidate, Morphine, Oxycodone, Tapentadol and Pethidine.    
• Schedule 4D: Benzodiazepines (Clonazepam, Diazepam, Oxazepam, Temazepam), Phentermine, Pregabalin, Testosterone, Modafinil, Zolpidem and Zopiclone.
