I forgot to ask for a medical certificate for my consult. What should I do?

The doctor can issue a medical certificate within 24 hours of your consultation. Please contact the Support team to request that the certificate be issued.

If it has been more than 24 hours since the consult, you will need to book and pay for another telehealth consultation.  

Notes

• Medical certificates cannot be backdated.
• At Hola, we respect your privacy – our certificates don’t disclose more than is necessary for your employer
• Your certificate will include the date of consultation, a statement saying you are unfit, for example, 'unfit to work' and the Doctor's signature with an AHPRA number.
• Certificates are delivered electronically – you can forward the PDF to your employer, and it’s easy to read and store.

Hola Health stands by the legitimacy of its certificates and provides customer support, so if an employer needs to verify, it’s straightforward.
