A bulk-billing doctor is a medical professional who charges Medicare directly for your consultation, meaning you pay nothing out of pocket. The entire cost is covered by Medicare.

You don’t have to. With Hola Health’s bulk-billed doctor consults, you can request prescriptions and mental health support, or seek medical advice after hours, no matter where you are in Australia. All you will need is a Medicare card.

We bulk bill eligible services such as: 

• Mental health care plans every day

• General consults are available after hours, weekends and public holidays (timing applies)
• Online scripts every day, after hours, weekends and public holidays (timing applies).

You’re eligible for bulk billing if you: 

• Hold a valid Australian Medicare card or have an IHI number. 
• Are based in Australia.  
• Consult during the hours when bulk billing applies.

Bulk billing is applied automatically if you are eligible for the services. Simply provide your Medicare details during booking. If you meet the requirements, the claim will be processed by Hola on your behalf.  Since there is no upfront fee for the consultation (patients pay nothing), the Medicare rebate will be paid to Hola directly.
