Dr Santanu Baruah

Dr Santanu Baruah, affectionately known as “Dr Sunny,” is a senior Specialist Gynaecologist and Fertility expert with over 25 years of international experience. Trained in London and Birmingham, he holds multiple prestigious fellowships, including from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. 

As part of his telehealth practice with Hola Health, Dr Baruah offers remote consultations for fertility, IVF, and gynaecological care, supporting patients through compassionate, evidence-based care no matter where they are located. 

Dr Baruah is the Founder and Medical Director of Oasis Fertility Centre in Perth and is internationally recognised for his advanced laparoscopic surgical expertise. His commitment to surgical innovation has earned him multiple accolades, including the COEMIG (Centre of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery) awards in 2015 and 2018 and the Master Surgeon award in 2018 by the Surgical Review Corporation (USA). 

He has performed over 5,000 IVF cycles and has deep experience with assisted reproductive technologies, gynaecological surgery, and management of complex fertility issues. Dr Baruah is passionate about making high-quality fertility care more accessible and inclusive for all.
